Take Advantage of Virtual Remote Proctoring
After a successful pilot period, the College Board, in partnership with B Virtual, Inc., will offer online proctoring services to students.

Students can take an online ACCUPLACER test from just about anywhere, at any time, while being monitored by certified online proctors via a webcam.

Virtual remote proctoring will cost $25 per online proctored session and will be available starting April 1.

How to activate?

On April 15, we will launch updated COMPANION test forms (reusable and nonreusable) for five (5) tests. Two (2) updated COMPANION forms, titled Forms H and I, will be released for the following five tests: Reading Comprehension, Sentence Skills, ESL Language Use, ESL Reading Skills, and ESL Sentence Meaning.

The current COMPANION forms (F and G) for the tests listed above will be discontinued on April 15, and new forms will be available for order. If your institution ordered the listed COMPANION forms within the last 30 days, please view the COMPANION Order Form (.pdf/512KB) to learn more about the COMPANION exchange policy.

ACCUPLACER Data Archive Reminder
On April 13, the ACCUPLACER Program will permanently delete testing data created on or before April 1, 2010.

After this initial purge of data, we will remove testing data that is more than four years old on a quarterly basis. This data will no longer be available once it is deleted from the ACCUPLACER system.

If you do not currently have processes in place to archive your historical data, we highly encourage you to set them up now.
