Impressive Results: ACCUPLACER//MyFoundationsLab Pilot Program
Cerritos College, a two-year institution in Norwalk, Calif., created a special "prep" course using ACCUPLACER//MyFoundationsLab to help 40 students whose placement test results indicated the need for developmental course work, but who could not register as these courses were full.
Post-Diagnostic Results
54 percent of the students saw an increase in their reading comprehension placement scores. 28 percent improved their reading course placement level by one or more courses.
62 percent of the students increased their sentence skills placement scores. 40 percent improved their English course placement level by one or more courses.
46 percent of the students improved their math course placement level by one or more courses.
ACCUPLACER National Conference: Call for Proposals
We invite you to submit presentation, panel discussion and research result proposals for the 2012 ACCUPLACER National Conference, which will take place June 28–30 in San Francisco, Calif., at The Palace Hotel. By sharing your experience and best practices, you can guide your colleagues on effective uses of ACCUPLACER to enhance student success. Presenters will receive a $200 honorarium and a waiver of the National Conference registration fee.

This session reviews the steps necessary to activate ACCUPLACER//MyFoundationsLab in your current ACCUPLACER account. In addition, it covers various payment options and steps required for student registration in MyFoundationsLab.
ACCUPLACER Preregistration and Vouchers
This session focuses on how to streamline the enrollment process with the recently added ACCUPLACER features preregistration and vouchers.
The SAMs represent the CLEP® and ACCUPLACER programs across the nation. They each bring extensive experience in their work with school districts, higher education, and state and national education policy focused on college readiness and student success.
