| 25th Annual ACCUPLACER® National Conference |

On June 23, ACCUPLACER® users from all over the nation attended the 25th Annual ACCUPLACER National Conference in Denver, Colorado. Dozens of sessions covered ACCUPLACER best practices, such as ways to enhance student performance and readiness for college, innovative technological features that improve the experience of ACCUPLACER users, and much more.
Keynote speakers, Colorado Lieutenant Governor Joseph Garcia and president of Harper College, Dr. Kenneth L. Enders, presented best practices to ensure student readiness and success in college, career and life.
One of the highlights of the conference was the announcement of ACCUPLACER’s new vision: the launch of the ACCUPLACER®//MyFoundationsLab® program in winter 2012 and the launch of the new ACCUPLACER iPhone app in fall 2011. Read more about the new vision below.

| ACCUPLACER’S New Vision |
 |

The ACCUPLACER iPhone app, which will be offered exclusively through Apple’s iTunes Store this coming fall, is designed to familiarize students with the style and content of questions found on the ACCUPLACER Arithmetic, Elementary Algebra, College-Level Math, Reading Comprehension and Sentence Skills tests. The app will be compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
ACCUPLACER®//MyFoundationsLab®, launching in winter 2012, is a solution to enhance college preparedness and student success that offers targeted assessment and intervention. ACCUPLACER//MyFoundationsLab identifies areas of strengths and weaknesses for each student and then builds a personalized Learning Path linking students to tutorials, interactive instruction and practice exercises with instant feedback to master core concepts for college and career readiness.

Register for the new ACCUPLACER professional development series. These free, one-hour sessions are designed for faculty and testing professionals who want to learn more about ACCUPLACER products, best practices and system enhancements.
Meet Your Senior Assessment Manager
As an ACCUPLACER user, please know that your institution has a dedicated senior assessment manager (SAM) to help you evaluate and expand the ACCUPLACER program on your campus. SAMs are available to provide expert guidance on using ACCUPLACER through in-person, state and regional meetings or live virtual workshops for your staff, administrators and faculty. To find out who your institution's SAM is, please refer to your region on this map (.pdf/84K).
Please don’t hesitate to use your regional SAM as an ACCUPLACER resource.
