Lead a Discussion at the ACCUPLACER® National Conference
This year's ACCUPLACER National Conference is June 27–29, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas. If you haven't registered, don't wait — the time to register is now! Check out our preliminary agenda. We look forward to engaging in meaningful conversations and discussing practical, achievable strategies that will help you and your institution bridge the gap between secondary and postsecondary education. We're also planning a range of fun and diverting activities to keep you motivated and engaged!

If you would like to lead a discussion, there is still time to submit a proposal. We are looking for presentations that address this year's theme of bridging the gap between K–12 and beyond. Special consideration will be given to proposals that focus on data-driven results and replicable best practices. Some suggested discussion topics include:
How can we ease students' transition from high school to college?
How can we build more productive connections between secondary and postsecondary education systems?
What tools ensure students' success in high school, college and beyond?

ACCUPLACER in the News: Many Students Don't Need Remediation, Studies Say
In an article posted by Education Week, ACCUPLACER responds to studies from Teachers College, Columbia University and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, which focus on the use of placement tests in relation to other variables to measure a student's college and career readiness. The College Board agrees that the most successful placement models are those that take a comprehensive approach. This means utilizing the extensive range of tools available within ACCUPLACER to assess multiple variables, including high school GPA, to develop a more robust picture of a student's preparation for college and career.

Assist ACCUPLACER in ABE Field Testing
More adults require foundational and basic education in order to compete in a tight job market. In response, the College Board ACCUPLACER program needs your help as we develop an adult basic education (ABE) test in reading, writing and math.

Field testing of the ACCUPLACER ABE test started in December 2012, and more field testers are needed to calibrate this new assessment. Incentives will be provided to test administrators, proctors and students who assist with field testing.

Submit a complete order form. Ordering-submission procedures may have changed since your last order, so make sure to review the documents below:
